MULTI-BAG FILTER SYSTEM Multi Bag Filters can have anywhere from 3 to 24 individual filter bags. They are designed to handle flow rates from 480 GPM to 3840 GPM with line sizes up to 14" in diameter. Click over the photos for larger view Multi-Bag Filter systems will provide more efficient particle removal as compared to perforated plate used in strainers. They can be jacketed, manufactured in Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Hastelloy etc. and custom built to meet your requirements. Typical applications include the filtering of water, paint, plant effluent or any application that benefits from high capacity filtration with minimal pressure drop.
Bag filters efficiently remove particles from as small as 1 micron to as large as 800 microns. Usually bag filters are used to clean fluids so they can be reused, "polish" process fluids, recover finished product, or to minimize disposal costs.
